A site that prints other companies’ prices will eventually print one that has changed. The useful question is not whether that happens but what happens next, and whether the reader can see it happen.
The operating rule
If a price here disagrees with the vendor’s own current pricing page, the vendor is right and this site is stale. That is not a disclaimer, it is the rule the site is built on, and it is why every figure carries the date it was read rather than an impression of permanence.
How to report one
- What to send: the page, the figure, and the vendor URL that contradicts it. Nothing else — no account, no form, no name, no reason.
- Where: paucarneado@gmail.com.
- What you get back: an answer from a person, saying either what was changed or why nothing was.
What happens then
- The source is re-read at the vendor’s own page. Not at a comparison site, and not at whatever the report links to instead.
- If it changed, the ledger entry is updated, every page that prints the figure is rebuilt, and the read date moves. If the ledger and a page disagree, the build fails before anything ships.
- If two readings disagree, nothing changes and the disagreement is recorded. A figure is not corrected on evidence that contradicts itself.
- What will not happen: a figure is not adjusted because a vendor asks. It changes when the vendor’s published page changes.
A correction this site has worked through
An expired promotional deadline
A promotional rate on this site was read at the vendor’s page on 7 August 2026 and was live on that date. Its own published terms set a deadline of 12 August, and that deadline passed. The page was re-read at source on 13 August, and what the re-read found is the interesting part: the vendor still displays the offer, with the same fine print and the same undated “August 12”, and says nowhere that it has ended.
So the correction says the narrower of the two available things. The published deadline has passed, and no reader should plan against the introductory rate. It does not say the vendor withdrew the offer, because the vendor’s page says the opposite by continuing to show it. The promotional total stays on the calculator, marked lapsed rather than deleted, because a reader who is quoted that number needs to be able to find it here and see why it is not theirs.
That case is written out rather than summarised because the distinction in it is the whole skill. “The deadline passed” is checkable against the vendor’s own text. “The offer ended” would have been an inference, and it would have been wrong.
If you work for a vendor named here
Corrections to your own published pricing are welcome and will be checked against your public pricing page. Requests to remove an accurate figure, to add an unpublished one, to soften the quote-gated label, or to change how a comparison reads, will not be actioned. No commercial relationship exists with any company named on this site, and none has been sought.
What this site cannot correct
It cannot tell you which product to buy, and it will not pretend to. It has never run any of this software in a real business, so any recommendation would be a guess dressed as experience. If that is what you need, this is the wrong site, and saying so is a service rather than a failure.
