FieldEdge, Service Fusion, FieldPulse and the mid-market bracket: why they are not priced here yet

These platforms are real, they are recommended constantly, and this site carries no price for any of them. That is deliberate and it is worth explaining.

The bracket

Between the self-serve SMB tier and the quote-gated enterprise tier sits a group of platforms marketed at roughly ten to fifty technicians: FieldEdge, Service Fusion, FieldPulse, Workyard, RazorSync, ContractorPlus and others.

They are the most commonly recommended answer for shops that have outgrown the entry tier and do not want an enterprise implementation. That makes them exactly the segment this site’s readers are in.

Why there are no numbers on this page

We have not read their pricing pages at source. Not “could not find” — have not done it yet, in this build.

The alternative was to copy figures from comparison sites, which is what most pages in this market do. The rule that makes this site worth reading is that every price resolves to a vendor page with a date, and breaking it for coverage on day one would leave nothing behind.

So the honest position is: this bracket is mapped and not priced. Each platform is added after its own page is read and logged, one at a time.

What can be said without prices

The bracket exists because the shop-type split gets sharper with size. Installation-heavy contractors need proposal and project capability that the entry tier does not carry; service-heavy shops of the same size often do not.

The market segments itself by fleet size in its own marketing — roughly one to ten trucks at the entry tier, ten to twenty-five in this bracket, twenty-plus at the enterprise tier. Those boundaries are marketing positions rather than technical limits, and shops routinely sit outside the band they are sold.

Treat the bracket as a shortlist to price yourself, using the questions in the per-seat guide, until this site has read the pages.

Vendor pricing changes without notice. Every figure above carries the date it was read. If a vendor’s current page disagrees with this one, the vendor’s page is right and this one is stale — and that is a bug worth reporting.
