Most privacy notices describe a data pipeline. This one mostly describes its absence, names the two places where that stops being true, and marks precisely what would have to change before it stopped being true anywhere else.
Who is responsible

No data protection officer has been appointed, because this site’s activity does not require one: there is no large-scale monitoring here and no special-category data.
What happens today
- Cookies set by this site: 0. There is nothing to consent to, so there is no banner. The cookies page explains that in full.
- Measurement: the site’s own aggregate counters, described below. No third-party analytics product and no script from another company.
- Requests to other companies’ servers: 0. No font service, no embed, no pixel, no ad tag.
- Advertising: none — no ad tag, no publisher account, no publisher identifier, no ad request, no advertising cookie and no consent platform, because none of it is needed when nothing is served.
- Accounts or sign-in: none. There is nothing to sign in to.
- Newsletter, mailing list, forms, comments: none. There is no form on this site and no comment box under any article.
- Selling or sharing personal data: never. Not for money, not for anything else, and no arrangement exists under which it could happen.
How this site counts its readers
What is counted, and what is not. This site keeps six aggregate counters in its own database: how many times a page was viewed, which pages people arrive on, which site they arrived from (the site’s name only, never the address they came from), which vendor links are clicked, the calendar day, and requests for pages that do not exist. There is no third-party analytics product, no script from another company, and no request to any other host.
What that counting does not involve is the part worth reading. No cookie is set. No identifier of any kind is created, persistent or otherwise. No IP address is stored, hashed, or derived from — the counters never read one. No user agent, screen size, language or font list is recorded, so nothing here can contribute to a fingerprint. Nothing finer than a calendar day is kept, which is what makes the figures genuinely aggregate: two visits on one day are indistinguishable from one reader’s two page views, and nothing here can tell them apart or wants to.
That is why there is no consent banner, and the reasoning runs one way only: the design came first and the absence of a banner follows from it. Spanish law makes consent a condition of storing or retrieving something on your equipment; this stores and retrieves nothing. European data protection law attaches its duties to personal data; these counters hold none. A design that needed a banner would have had to keep something, and this keeps nothing.
One definition, so that nobody later reads a figure as something it is not. A “landing” here means a page view that did not arrive from this site. Without a session there is no such thing as “the first page of a visit”, so the counter records what is actually observable rather than borrowing a word that implies more.
The two things that do involve personal data
Server logs. Reaching this site means connecting to a web server, and a web server keeps a connection record: IP address, timestamp, the page requested, the user agent, the response code. That is a property of being reachable on the internet, not a decision this site made about you. The lawful basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in keeping the site up and defending it from abuse. These records are separate from the counters above, which never read them.
Where those logs live, and how long they last. This site is hosted on a virtual private server rented by the publisher from Hostinger, which acts as the publisher’s processor for the machine those records sit on. The records are the running containers’ own output, and the period they survive is not fixed in time, because rotation is by size rather than by date: each container keeps at most three log files of 10 MB — 30 MB in total — and when that fills, the oldest file is deleted to make room for the newest. The same bound applies to the proxy that answers the connection in front of them. A quiet week therefore holds a longer stretch of history than a busy one, which is why no number of days is promised here: nothing enforces one. Nothing deletes by date, and nothing extends the period either — the publisher does not ship, export, archive or copy these records anywhere else, and they are read on the server itself, when something is broken, and not otherwise.
Email you send. If you write to the address above, the publisher holds your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of a correction you may have prompted. The lawful basis is the same legitimate interest in running the site and answering the people who read it. You do not need an account, a real name, or a reason.
The calculator specifically
The cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter — technician count, seats, add-ons — are used to compute a total on your own device and are never transmitted anywhere. There is no endpoint to receive them and nothing is stored between visits; closing the tab discards it. If you would rather check that than take it on trust, open your browser’s network panel: loading the page and using the calculator makes no request at all. The one request this site’s pages can make is the outbound-link count described above, and it happens only when you click a link to another company, carries only that company’s hostname, and never carries anything you typed.
Your rights
European data protection law gives you the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted, to object to it, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to the address above and you will get an answer within one month.
Two honest qualifications. First, for an ordinary reader there is very little to exercise these rights against: the counters hold nothing about you, and a server log entry cannot usually be tied to you without information you would have to supply. Second, if you are not satisfied you can complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, or to the authority where you live. That route exists whatever this page says about itself.
Automated decisions, transfers, children
There is no profiling and no automated decision-making of any kind on this site. This site is written for people running a trade business; it is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.
If any of this changes
The list under “what happens today” is not aspirational. If advertising, a third-party analytics product, a newsletter or a comment form is ever added, this page changes in the same commit that adds it, before the change is live. A privacy notice that lags the site it describes is not a notice, it is a claim — and this one has lagged once already: it said “Analytics: none” for the length of time between the counters being written and this page being rebuilt. That is recorded here rather than quietly corrected, because it is the exact failure this paragraph exists to prevent.
